The hot air balloons have been operating for 8 years with a reputation for professionalism and safety first. The parent company, Namthip Tours has been operating for 23 years.
All pilots are certified and trained and have more than 1,000 flights logged each. And our company is approved by the Lao Civil Aviation Authority.

Experience the same fantastic views of Vang Vieng from up high as the balloon smoothly floats over the town. From the sky you will see across the lime karst mountains, the Nam Song River, and the town itself. We speak English, Chinese, Thai and Lao. Our balloons take up to 8 people maximum and we can also organise private flights for special occasions. We fly at 6am and at 5pm (depending on the season) and the flight time is 30 minutes. $110 per person. Includes free transport to and from your hotel. Bookings can be made at our office, by phone or online.
We will pick you up from your hotel and take you to watch the balloons being readied. Once inflated you will climb on and our friendly, professional pilot will welcome you aboard. For the next 30 minutes or so you will cruise over Vang Vieng town and see the magnificent mountains and the Nam Song from high above. Remember to bring your camera for a truly unforgettable trip.

For the next 30 minutes or so you will cruise over Vang Vieng town and see the magnificent mountains and the Nam Song from high above. Your flight can be recorded on our GoPro camera for your enjoyment after the flight. You will also receive a commemorative certificate as a souvenir of your flight. All safety equipment is provided, and our pilots are all fully licensed and certified.

The balloons fly early morning or later afternoon. The exact time changes during the year according to when the sun rises and sets. You will be informed of the pick up time when you book.
You will get a pick up from your hotel or any other chosen location. And you will be returned after the flight for free.
For both tours, drinking water is supplied. And for the paramotor flight you will be supplied with safety equipment including a helmet. You will also receive a commemoritive certificate after your paramotor flight.
You can book a flight for any small party privately. Prices depend on the size of the group.
